It's nearly three in the morning and I have to get this paper work done that should have been finished days ago. I'd rather drop dead but I'm sure they'd bring me back to life to finish it before anyone else would accept doing it.

More seriously, good luck. Hope you get it done. Working through the night to finish anything is not fun. Been there, done that.

If you're using a computer, pull parts out of it at random. It will stop, and you will be reluctant to restart it because that might confirm that you just wrecked hundreds of dollars worth of hardware.

If you're using a phone, tablet etc, it's even easier. Turn it off, whack it sharply over the edge of a table, then put it away. Likewise, you don't actually want to know if it still works.

Now do your paperwork and go to bed.

I've woken up slumped in my desk chair but the paper work is done. I've sent it in and now I'll push off from the desk towards my bed on the other end of the room. Good morning to those waking up, good night to those heading to bed, and a nice howzit to those heading to lunch or some other crap.

So a couple of news! ^^

- Yay, new glasses!
- My eyesight index sort of stabilized. -5.15-something for left, -4.00 for right. In plain terms, it's... it's probably freaking high myopia for my age, but hey, they have been stable since my last glasses 5 years ago.

As a teenager my my my sharona! *cough* My myopia got worse every year, but the optometrist told me that when I got older, hyperopia would start to counteract it and my my my myopia would go back down.

"Yeah right, doc, but I will need bifocals won't I?" -- Not necessarily, he said. By about 45 it did get a little better, and I don't need bifocals yet. I haven't had a script in ages, but I think it's down from -4 to -3.25 or so. Still can't see much without glasses though.

Rubber boots are pretty vegan, for example.
