Oooh, someone who knows Cannibal Corpse!

My first song from them was... "Make Them Suffer". To most people, this doesn't sound like what Valentine would listen, but then again, I know a lot of songs thanks to Tap Tap Revenge.

So Beauty and the Best apparently took place in the mid 18th century. This means there is a decent chance that Belle and the Beast lived to see the French Revolution. Make that movie Disney you cowards.

Sadly the power of love does not tend to hold up to the power of extreme violence.

Ran my second 5K of the year today (coincidentally, my second 5K of like the last seven years).

A bit disappointed that I had to walk some and that it was 1 minute 17 seconds slower than my 5K last month (34:14 today; 32:57 then) but also I've only run six times in the past month (including today's 5K), so I guess I'm fortunate I could even do it.

My next 5K is in three weeks and I'm gonna get serious about training now that its warm again and I'm going to aim for under 30 minutes.

One of my aunts is a real estate agent and she was telling me about this interaction with a client.

Aunt: So you said you teach chemistry at [college]?

Client: Yes I do.

Aunt: Oh, my niece goes there. She may have had you for a couple of classes.

Client: Really? Who's your niece?

Aunt: Her name is [my name].

Client: *exasperated sigh* Yes, I remember her. How could I not.

Not surprised that he remembers me so well. When I was in his class, I managed to cause the fire alarms to go off in the lab because I screwed up an experiment. Only reason I passed was so he could get me out of his class because I was a danger to myself and others.
