Spending time with my maternal grandmother and relatives for her 83rd today. The fun thing about Bohol is that clear skies are clear!

It's a comfortable 2.52 PM for me here! :3

When I was a toddler, I used to think that the noise I heard every morning was the sound of the rising sun (because, you know, toddlers are stupid). I don't remember how, but I eventually realised or learnt that that noise is actually a bird. After spending the best part of two decades needing to know what that bird is, I finally discovered that it's a spotted turtledove. You have no idea how fulfilled I am now that I finally know what that bird is. For the record, this is the noise:

Awh our nice fine feathered friends. When I used to work as an assistant manager at a major South Florida Mall, on our break time I would buy two orders of French Fries, one for me and one for the birds, who drank and bathed on the malls big kind of lake at the food court. They take the French Fries and dip them in the water then eat them.

I also used to do this at McDonalds and Burger King. I would park my car far from other persons and throw out French Fries to them.

I would buy Guava Pies, eat the Guava and throw them the bread like parts of the Guava. I have not done this recently, but the last time I did this was in 2020. Guava Pies are said to be similar to Rhubarb Pies which I have never tasted.

I love birds! I remember when I was youngmy auntie used to take us (my sister and I) to feed the ducks near her home. Birds are beautiful when in the wild. (Caged birds is just cruelty). I am growing more bottlebrushes and lilli pillis in my garden in hopes of attracting more birds, all these days my part of Sydney, the only birds we have are crows (which wake me up frequently with their "ah, ah, ah!" and those damned Indian Mynas. The Indian Mynas are bloody pests which kill and outbreed native birds, so I told the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) about them and have since noticed a decline in Indian Mynas an increase in pigeons (but it could just be confirmation bias). I hope that the EPA is doing something about them, but since it was less than a monyh ago, it's too ealry to tell. I hope to start seeing loracheets and cockatoos too at one stage. We also used to have the occasional kookaburra (which are rare in suburban areas), but now I suspect that the feral cats (which are thankfully no longer a problem in this part of Sydney) and Indian Mynas have killed them. I also remember when the bloody feral cats used to breed under my house and wake me up!

Cool dude you are doing a good deed. Yeah I have fed ducks and birds of whatever kinds, since I am not an expert on birds. Like on a canal near my house. Like a few times I have gone to the store and bought a big loaf of white bread for me, I passed by the canal, feed the whole bread to them, they gather around me and dip the bread in the water and eat the bread in the water too. I had to go back to the store to buy a big loaf of white bread for me, lol.

I have befriended at least 3 cats actually more than 3, I used to take my next door neighbors cats one at a time for an hour or two in my house, I have given them food and water, I have gone to the store and bought tuna and cat food for them.

I had a collie in Chicago named champion, he loved to lay down on a piece of solid ice during the winter at my terrace apartment building. I have also had two German Shepherd dogs named Lobo in Spanish - Wolf or Wolfgang in English and German. I don't want anymore dogs, I don't want to go through again, having to let them go when it is time to. Dogs, cats and pets are family, even better than family. Cool chatting with you Dude.

Besides those posters would wind up warned or banned anyway, might as well get it over with.

Give the mods some much needed exercise, find some folks who really don't fit around here, and for the first few pages at least some polite(ish) debate. It's a win-win-win!
