I'm super nervous about my upcoming job interview. Ever since I was a kid, I've had a stutter. Normally I can control it, but when I get nervous or upset, it comes back again. I'm worried that I'm gonna start stuttering during my job interview, and that's gonna make the person who is interviewing me have doubts about me. I feel like that when I stutter, it negatively affects how people see me. That it makes people think I'm stupid or dishonest or that I don't know what I'm talking about.

And lo and behold, cue the "When are you free today for an interview?" I picked 4.30 PM, which is... in an hour.

I swear I get easily anxious and nervous. And that is a problem because I rambled a LOT. Like, not completely off-topic, but I went off too much on one topic.

Guy was asking about what my internship was like, I went on and on about the work environment for far too long and I have to tell myself "Val, OH MY GOD VAL, SHUT IT AND MOVE ON."

And yes, the usual generous amount of sweating.

I was gonna get it renewed, but then that little thing called the pandemic happened and any plans for that year were scrapped. So I finally get back out there, and these fuckers say since it's been over a year, I gotta retake the motherfucking written test again. Bastards. A little leeway since there was a Goddamn pandemic last year would be nice.
