Identity politics is an ambiguous and amorphous phrase, similar to "culture war issues", that essentially mean "non-economic issues I wish people would stop talking so much about"

But in the broadest sense of the word, labor politics would classify as identity politics since your class is a part of your identity. In a Marxist reading it's almost the only relevant part.
