if this were a court ordered fine. The contract could be considered aiding and abetting avoidance of the fine. It would be a criminal act on part of the Browns organization.

Carolina Panthers rookie QB Matt Corral with a Lisfranc ligament tear. And he's likely out for the rest of the season too since that injury just sounds so bad and serious.

We're going to be stuck seeing Mayfield and Darnold flip flop then, and Rhule will probably be fired by mid-season I sense.

That kid's had a rocky offseason. Didn't see him starting this year but he was my favorite QB of the group coming into the draft.

I think Mayfield has some potential in a new situation. I think it's become pretty clear already that Darnold is probably not the answer here. A real shame about Corral though.

Looks like the Vikings are trading for raiders back up qb Nick Mullens. That's probably a good thing given how bad Mannion and Mond are looking.

On a mostly unrelated note, getting voted the 99th best player in the NFL has to be the most Kirk Cousins thing ever.

I think Mullens is one of the most capable backup QB's in the league right now. It's a good move for Minnesota.
