All stateless communism requires a massive state apparatus to indoctrinate people that communism is good, else they automatically turn into a chaotic and violent warlord system where people realize they will be better off securing power as a strongman and hoard resources. Human civilization collapsed into anarchic violence and looting and drugs/weapons industries skyrocketed and everything burns. But this is getting off topic.

None of that is true.

Freshman Rep. Steve Watkins (R)and future felon, who's charged with voter fraud, starts out as the underdog in the KS-02 GOP primary. He's trailing state treasurer Jake LaTurner (R) 47%-28% in the very early going

LaTurner is the favorite. Steve Watkins has been marred in controversy for months now. I would say KS-02 is a Toss-up come November. It was decided by less then 1% in 2018.

Only if Watkins somehow wins. I think a LaTurner victory tonight means De La Isla won't have a chance in November.

Ohh, that's a problem: that will not go over well with moderate voters. Yeah, as much as I thought she would get it, that is now out the window. That increases Harris' chances though to be clear, I suspect it won't be Harris: it usually isn't the ones you suspect. That said, my Top Five choices for Biden remaining have now been reshuffled to as follows (in no order):

KS-02 is competitive either way. If Dems run up the numbers in urban areas like Topeka and Lawrence, while keeping rural area somewhat respectable they can win. Lawrence is the most Democratic part of Kansas - okay maybe KC as of 2018 - and a college town.

I suspect some people don't know what EZLN is. The portion of Chiapas they control has been going strong since the mid-90s, by the way.

Missouri voters are currently voting in favor of expanding medicaid in huge numbers. Dems have pushed this for along time, amidst strong Republican opposition.

Grisham wouldn't be a bad pick: she's a Latina with both executive (Governor and NM's former Health Secretary and a local Commissioner) and was a member of the House who chaired the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. Of course, it wouldn't fit the mantra of him picking a Black woman but it's ultimately up to Biden. The only thing holding her back is the fact she's a Governor. And why? Because they need to devote their attention to the pandemic and it would be difficult I would think to campaign and do her job.

GOP KS-2(Topeka): Jake LaTurner
Dem MI-4(Midland-Mount Pleasant): Jerry Hilliard
Dem MO-6(Kansas City-St. Joseph-Kirksville): Gena Ross

As for Amendment 2...still can't call it yet, it's getting pretty close indeed.

Oh, and since 90% of all voted in Arizona were early or by mail, we should have everything there wrapped up within the hour.

Explains the lack of any results then, but not totally unexpected either.
