And really I don't think any of his primary challengers are gonna beat him, and never will the Bronx vote a Republican.

There isn't even a Republican on the ballot. A member of the Conservative party will be the sole challanger

Trump has announced he will restart campaign rallies in two weeks. I am not certain if there is anything governors or mayors can legally do to stop him.

Oh there absolutely is. Large gatherings are still 100% banned in many states.

None of Joseph Crowley's primary challengers could beat him, either, until one of them did. Bowman's now got an engorged war chest, support from Progressive organisations, and although no polling has yet been done in the area, signs are that Engel's numbers have dropped precipitously.

They can't, for the same reason that they didn't launch tear gas and rubber bullets on the anti-lockdown crowds. They know that these folks are armed and will fight back.

They can send in the police to shut down the gathering. Or, otherwise, they can just slap Trump with a massive fine.

Why didnt they stop the anti lockdown protests or all current protests? Those constitute large gatherings. Trump can refuse to pay said fine

Pity the governor that tries to enforce a ban on one of these rallies.

New Jersey isnt going to be in play and in my view that is violation of the first amendment and completely hypocritical

Trump has rallied here before: NJ-2 and NJ-3 are going to be among the most contested House seats this cycle (they were both Democratic flips in '18; NJ-3 had been a GOP hold since 2010 and they only lost it due to mail-in ballots. NJ-2's Democratic usurper has since switched to the GOP, where he faces an uphill battle for re-election).

Trump is not going to win New Jersey

Murphy is a hypocrite for allowing the police brutality protests but not anti lockdown ones. The first amendment protects all assembly and protest not just ones you agree with

Trump going to New Jersey is not about him winning the state. It's about him joining in the campaign for other Republicans like in the NJ-3 and NJ-2 to try and give them a better chance at the polls. Even in reachier districts like the NJ-5 (which last went red in 2014, where 2016 was a rare and narrow house flip for the Dems, ending a 30 year streak) his presence could help.

Not everything is about the presidential race, Lumen.

I don't. We need to fix the pension crisis, and the best ways to do that are income tax reform, expanded gambling, property tax reform to encourage more people to live here, and pension reform itself. The last one's the hardest because that also requires a constitutional amendment, and the last one didn't get enough votes.

The only desirable pension reform is to abolish pensions.

In Baltimore while results are still not official City Council President Brandon Scott now leads former Mayor Shelia Dixon by 1385 votes. Whomever wins the Democratic primary will almost certainly be the next mayor

Nonprofit Executive and former Pastor Shannon Wright in the current leader in the Republican primary

Notably, an approval rating of 41.4% and a disapproval rating of 54.3% is very close to (within MOE) that CNN poll this morning that showed Biden as 14 points above Trump. This suggestions that, unlike Hillary Clinton, Biden is successfully capturing virtually all of the non-Trump votes.
We still have a LONG time till November, let us not forget Trump polled clown number early in the race. If he's STILL coming up short after ripping into Biden, then I'll worry.

Expect 15 new tax brackets and triple dipping as both local and county skim you for everything you got. If this passes, I might honestly abandon the state.

Biden is polling substantially higher than Clinton at this point. In fact, he's polling substantially higher than Kerry did in '04, too. Supposedly no presidential challenger in history (going as far back as polls allow, which is the '40 race) who has led in every May poll has gone on to lose the election - Biden qualified.
