One day Trump will say we need to be safe, and the next he'll downplay it or talk about immediately reopening. We need to put human lives before the economy and keep sending money to those who need it, but we're not doing that,

At some point you have to lift restrictions or the entire economy will go under and that will be worse than any pandemic

Most other countries are reopening, but they've contained it. We can probably get to that point in 2 months if we really try, but if it continues on its current trend we won't be reopening for a long time.

I suggested, we keep wearing the masks and social distancing as much as possible at work and in public. You suggest we lock down the economy even further. So by your logic lets shut down all businesses, the grocery stores, the merchandise stores, the gas stations, and all businesses, so I wont get infected, you wont get infected, and we wont get infected. But I say, lets open up the economy as safely as possible, following the health guidelines, of wearing the masks and social distancing at work and in public, what we have been doing, are doing and its the only we can do, no one is going to do it differently.

I recommend caution in saying Biden's plan will be better. For most of his career, he did nothing, and so we can expect him to continue doing nothing against China.
