2.Friendly reminder that the winner of this election will be the oldest president ever elected (Trump is 74, Biden is 77)
Both these men are not operating at 100% mentally
There is an extremely high chance the VP will need to step in more frequently over the next 4 years.
There's an equally high chance that Biden's VP can tank his chances.

And finally, we had the same old-age conversation in 2016. We all thought there was no way the combination of Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine could be beaten by a reality show clown and someone so religious even Saint Paul would tell him to pump the breaks. The VP debate came, and Kaine looked unhinged and, frankly, insane compared to a calm and composed Pence. This wasn't the only thing that led to Clinton's defeat, but I'd hypothesize it was a more significant factor than people give it credit for (although not nearly as significant as Clinton being so disliked).

So while Trump has a LOT going against him, it would be very unwise to count him out.

I mean, yes, what you suggested is possible. It's a little more possible than Biden changing his mind and picking a man as his running mate and a little less possible than the pandenmic systematically repressing Republican votes across the map leading to a fifty state landslide for the Democrats.
