Mm, I had salmon last night. But, I gotta say, forks go through salmon quicker than a hot knife through butter. It’s crazy how much gravity salmon on a fork has.

For your lobster argument...no. They’re both arthropods, but arthropods are, like, the largest phylum of animals. Plus, lobsters aren’t venomous, and they’re not as high as the Dropbear tier on the Australian danger list.

They’re also quite delicious, and lobster rolls are divine.

The flesh is soft indeed

A good salmon steak is excellent though. Especially if you add a good amount of salt. :)

Tuna and salmon: two of my favourite fish.

I love salmon in something simple, like baked with lemon and thyme and served with potatoes and asparagus.

I like puffer fish, one of my favorite fish.It impressed me. At my cousin's wedding, there were three different dishes made with puffer fish. Its skin has a lot of small spines, and it doesn't feel comfortable when eat.

I’ve just realized I haven’t eaten a nice roast ham with potatoes for a long time. I’m starting to salivate for the taste...

Do you guys say “soda,” “soft drink,” “pop,” “fizzy pop,” or “pop soda?”

I lean towards saying soda

Fris.
I think it's a corruption of fizz.
Lit. Translation would be chilly or fresh.

So, Blaat says: chillydrink. And I say Chilly. Or if you follow the English language:
Fizzy drink, and I, Fizzy.

The only redeeming quality it has, is that it doesn't go bad.

Which is another way of saying that not even bacteria will eat it.

Well, for honey, yes. For fermented and dried shark, probably not.

Personally, I say soda, and I understand soft drink or fizzy drink. Coke is a little weird, since not all sodas are Cokes, but Pop? I know those Midwest weirdos call it it pop, but why? It doesn’t pop. It’s a liquid.

How about sandwiches? Is it sub, hero, hoagie, or other?

It is if you're on a long sea voyage, and don't want to worry about your food going off. Which is what lutefisk is for.

Under all other circumstances, no.

Under all other circumstances, no.

Which explains why the Norse colonies in North America didn't prosper. They got settled and started making a batch of lutefisk for the journey back to collect more settlers and the Native Americans slaughtered them. It took a hundred years to get the smell out of Newfoundland.

Important to remember that bacteria eat in significantly different ways from us, so just because they can't eat something doesn't mean it's bad for us.
For example cheese is more resistant to spoilage then milk because it has a lower moisture content, and bacteria, unlike us, can't pair it with wine.
