I've gotten back into issue writing after a year and a bit long hiatus thanks to being cooped up in quarantine.

It's good to get back into those old writing boots.

I’ve tried working on my nation’s stats but I can’t. Not even during quarantine.

Either way, that’s good, that you’ve gotten back to do this. Do you enjoy it?

You could say that. :p

Honestly it's a lot of fun. It forces you to have to confront every angle of the hot button political questions, and to learn a bit from the process. I find that stuff fun, personally.

And hey, if you want to work on your stats and are willing to wait, you can dip your fingers in to writing issues that will help your preferred stats too. :D

I'm trying my best with mine now still! Further improving the stats I have, but more importantly... I heard that I can get both high Defense Forces and Pacifism. So that's one of the goals here on NS for me!

On the sunshine part, my homework is doing great! I err.... it's not as hard as I thought. Okay, it's still difficult, but I expected harder to the point of "Oh crap I can't even begin".

That's great Val! Good luck on the rest of the homework.

Also, please tell me how to improve Defense stat while maintaining high Pacifism stat sometime :p

Easy. Issue your defence personnel with a pot ration.

Damn. I thought that joke was pure and simple. A ration of marijuana. Your troops get high. High Military!

I thought in a literal sense, ie troops being issued food rations to be made in a kettle or other device.

This is why I'm not particularly good with jokes.

Someone, a while ago, suggested trying my hands at writing issues. Maybe I ought to consider that. I was also recently invited to RP with an established RPer. With how things are, I can definitely devote my time to that for a while.

In retrospect I shouldn't have used the slang, I should have gone with marijuana. Anyway.

Given the Got Issues? nature of it, I will answer it somewhere else if I can get enough info on it.

I will keep track of my issue results, in the meantime, specially for those two stats! This nation is a living proof that it's possible! Just... we don't know how.

EDIT: Sorry I messed up the quotes. Whoops.

My choir is currently in the process of making a stay at home video, and I filmed myself washing my hands while singing Didn't My Lord Deliver Daniel. It sounds boring, but I really enjoyed doing it.

Well, it's about what you enjoy, not what others would enjoy, so it's perfectly fine for this thread. ^^

I'm gonna have lasagna tonight. Yes, I'm arguably very easy to please ... ^^
Since Lillorainen's geography is currently being overhauled a 'tiny' bit, most information on it posted before December 12, 2018, is not entirely reliable anymore. Until there's a new, proper factfile, everything you might need to know can be found here. Thank you. #RetconOfDoom (Very late update, 2020/08/30 - it's still going on ...)

I believe so, and also super tough so he doesn't hurt his paws on rough ground and pokey things which are often in the areas he works.

Most of the dogs require scat to scent and follow, but he's got like a super nose and only needs the smell of koala fur and he can find them even when they're thirty feet up a tree.

Sadly he can't quite climb yet, so he just sits under the tree, looking up, and looking fucking thrilled to be there.
