I think the best part of that whole saga is he was so gung-ho about getting into politics that he regularly linked his twitter and other stuff for campaigning. I hope the stuff he said in that link haunts that fucking freak forever.

Cameroi? What?

I rarely have interactions with the mods myself, so I can't say I've noticed any biases from them. I've only reported one person in my entire time here though, and that was for spamming insulting telegrams at me.

They try and it's usually not conscious, but like all of us they are beholden to the assumptions and prejudices that come from their general leanings and their shared history. It's the only explanation other than moustache-twirling shenanigans that I can find for some of the obvious baiters and gratuitous reporters on the left still being around while rightists are squished at the first sign of a reaction. And in my experience, the option assuming the moustache-twirling villain usually isn't accurate unless you're in a Disney movie.

That's unfortunate. NationStates forums would be pretty boring if it was just lefties like me hanging around.

Trying to change this by allocating resources exactly is fighting against natural selection itself. vae victus.

I don’t know about the rest, but with EL, most of the time, the mods don’t look at RMB’s. I don’t know if it was reported at the time or not, though.

That'll depend on the ideology.
My view is that the Monarch holds the highest political authority, and thus holds responsibility over the wellbeing of the nation and acts to serve them to the best of their ability. All other parts of the government are just delegated powers in order to assist the Monarch in this aim. The person's obligation is to reciprocate the Monarch's service with loyalty, and to serve the nation in their own ability.

Because your belief is that the success of a people can be measured by how many monuments they built. Real life is not a game of Civilization where you earn points for building 'wonders' that go towards a golden age.Mostrov wrote:The Elizabethans circumnavigated the globe, the arts flourished, religion was reformed, they fought off what was then considered the paramount power in the world. Drake circumnavigated the globe sixty years after the Spanish. Elizabeth's religious policy was a complete disaster.Mostrov wrote:You have a poor histiography of the Empire if you think the middle-class had no part in running it.
The middle class was not in charge.Mostrov wrote:But it was the middle-class reaction to Amritsar that made departure from India certain.
Amritsar made departure from India certain. India should have become a dominion after the First World War.Mostrov wrote:The affairs of the men and women in the Victorian Raj in no way detracted from their rule. Marriages aren't affairs. And intermarriage should have continued.
