Hispanic means someone with connections to the Iberian Peninsula, not connections to Latins. Sort of how both Canada and the US have British heritage but to call the US “Canadian” would be inaccurate. In the same vein, calling Italians “Hispanic” is flatly incorrect.
Hispanic is to Latin/Romance as Anglo is to Germanic
Italians are to Spaniards what the Dutch are to the English. Part of the same family but distinct.

Saludos a todos! I was born in the United States to a Cuban-Spanish mother and a Nicaraguan-Spanish father. My mother's family came from Galicia, Aragon, and Islas Canarias before immigrating to Cuba, whereas my father's family were mainly a mix of Spanish and Native American, and I have no idea where exactly they originated from.
I originally spoke only Spanish since I was raised by my mom's family for the majority of my life, but my Spanish accent is mainly a Cuban accent with a few bits of Gringo here and there. Evidently, I do know English, and I know a great amount of French, as well as some Italian. Although, I do want to learn Galician in the future. For looks, I overwhelmingly look like my mother's side, being dark haired, light eyed and light skinned, as part of my Galician roots.

Ahh that’s pretty cool. Both my parents are Spaniards from Asturias, and I was born in the US. I’ve got dual Spanish and US citizenship, which is a nice flex on US tourists when visiting Europe since I get to go through the EU customs lines

There is a lot of good reading about social conflcits in 16th Century Spain. Many conversos formed pretty pliable political movements and were pretty successful at establishing themselves as an economic elite. They also founded the Jesuits (Ignatius himself was not a converso but most of the other guys were).

I have no idea if it will work but you could start listening to latino music like this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VR3dfZf9Yg and learn latino street dancing. An example from France - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5lP_088vIg
