Do they even have beaches in Singapore? You'd think they would transform such idle lands into container terminals or something utilitarian like that.

This is a really interesting case. A man was found in his recently deceased wife's freezer and determined to have been dead for 10 years. There aren't any leads and whether foul play was involved is not known. I guess you could say it's a cold case.

Safety tips for all of you going to Singapore beaches: Please don't ever run towards the water.

The depth changes are very, very drastic, so one moment you are in water knees-deep and the next moment, you will be finding yourself trying to swim and float in the water. It's very, very scary!

Nyesss.

I’d be curious to know more about him ending in the freezer but with the wife dead, and unless the investigation offers clues, we won’t know what happened. He was either murdered or the wife couldn’t afford to bury him/suffered a break and couldn’t part with the body.

I’m speculating. I should stop that.

It doesn't mention it in the article, but he received checks from the VA for the 10 years after his death because he was never reported dead - the wife reportedly got a payout of $177,000. I'm assuming she kept him in the freezer so he wouldn't be reported dead and she could keep getting the money. https://www.ksl.com/article/46719698/va ... in-freezer

And now it's time for more ethics training.

Apparently the classes I took last year were not enough for last year, a new one was added after I completed my circuit so I have to do it now to certify for last year. Oh joy.

Such fun times. Those work related ethics classes. Can’t I just take some 20 minute refresher online and get my credited hours?

Nope, 2 hours today, about 11 hours last year, and my tax returns.

And the song released yesterday is really good.
