Debates do matter. Not as much as some people think, but I watch them to actually get a good comparison between the candidates.

You also didn't address the final point. I'm gonna use myself for an example on that one. I think most of my options that I am eligible to vote for are shit. I'll vote where I can, but that doesn't cover nearly enough bases. Now you're saying I should run for local office. Thing is, legally I'm registered to vote in a certain minor city in Massachusetts. Here's the problem. I'm working in Hengyang, it is legitimately illegal for me to engage in political campaigning, even foreign political campaigning from my current location. Do I just have no right to complain?

As long as you send in an absentee ballot complain away. Once you return to the US run for local office or state legislature

Stop telling people to run for office.

Stop telling people to run for office.

Imagine, if, through some coincidence, everyone in this thread lived in one Congressional district and all ran for office upon the advice of San Lumen.

I'd think the Democrats and the Republicans would both be rather confused why so many people are running in one district.

I'll put my name forward the moment I get back in *looks at calendar* July. I'm sure the State Secretary would just love to hear why I deserve to be a last minute addition to the ballot.

State Secretary: "So why are you running for office, and why so late with little warning?"
PSA: "Because some guy from the internet told me to."

The rise of Prager u youtube poops and "send AOC feet pics" memes seems to show a backlash against Ben Shapiro mainly from a united Gen z and millennial team.

Political compass memes have also shown that Pepe is not a symbol of the right. The memes have risen to free him.

If reddit’s a good indicator for anything (which it’s not, but I’m conveniently ignoring that here :D) then Gen Z subreddits like r/teenagers seem to show sympathy to Gen X while hating on boomers and millennials simultaneously

While I can't say I read the entire reddit, I did read a good chunk of it. I didn't find any millennial hate on there. Sorted by new, hot,top and, rising.

Did see this ok boomer meme as an alltime high karma post on the sub.

Or, or, and here's a radical idea from the far-left: why don't we just make it real democracy?
