Biden and Sanders both gave good answers and Warren is doing so now.

Alright internet, you win. I have places to go...seems less clusterfucky than I thought 12 people would be. So...good for them I guess.
"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

Booker that low? Why if I may ask? I'll make my list later.

Also, Yang hits Bing. Lol.

Oh look, Harris is trying to get Trump banned from Twitter and forcing Warren to embrace her position. She's desperate. Besides, it's Twitter's Choice, not the government or a President, to ban someone from Social Media.

I think Biden made the point on why court packing is a bad idea, though Buttigieg does have an interesting solution.

Errrrr yea if you stretch that for awhile I see what you are saying.

Probably a better one would be; denial of circumcission(sp) or vasectomies.

Eh? Not sure what that means.

I think she blew it with her comment of automation is not causing job loss; it’s the trade deals. She kind of showed her age. Yang jumped on her for that one.

Well, and permitting parents to mutilate their boy childrens' genitals, something they can never take back regarding their own bodies.

Drafting has also historically included non consensual medical experimentation, btw.

True. War is a different animal though.

Medical exams also saved people. If they had something which would get them killed in combat...

Buttigieg's best performance for sure. The night goes to the underdogs imo.
Buttigieg,Yang,& Klobuchar

If we're just talking about the top three, Sanders benefited from everyone focusing on Biden & Warren who both did meh.

True, but forcing invasive medical exams on people against their will generally isn't something we allow outside of men in that context, even if it were in their benefit. We typically call it things like "aggravated assault" and "medical malpractice" and "your ass is going to jail" and "dude he's not even a real doctor".

Warren was less effective at taking criticism than I had expected, or hoped for. I can see what she's trying to do, and against Trump, it might work, since the trick with him is not letting him get under your skin. Against a range of other people who have plausible talking points, just ignoring their digs isn't entirely effective. I particularly wanted a stronger rebuke of Klobuchar's, "Just because I have different ideas," line, that's clearly a preview of GOP attempts to call her arrogant down the line.

The only other interesting developments are that both Biden and Sanders had their best debates yet by far, each by playing against negative stereotype. Booker, Buttigieg and O'Rourke (though I am less certain that Buttigieg did as well for himself in his dust up with O'Rourke as the thread seems to think) are all competing to be the most fluid, compelling speaker of the also rans. And Yang is improving at the format. Nothing fundamentally changed.

Anyone else mute the debate or focus on something else every time Steyer spoke? I don't think he should've been on the debate stage in the first place, but it was his creepy direct stare that I found most off-putting.
