So... it's already 11/9, or 9/11, for me here right now.

I am not going to open a thread on NSG just for that, and I definitely won't talk much about it, but... with that said, my sympathies and condolences to those that have lost their lives in that attack.

Sorry to start off with a downer.

It's 9/11 here, and also, sympathies and condolences to those who have lost their lives or loved ones in the tragedy. Hope love prevails over humanity.

I got the nickname too, and I embraced it. "Nay-laun", which from Burmese, translates to "Four balls", in turn "Four eyeballs".

I have 20/200 vision or something, making me borderline legally blind. I got my glasses shortly after I turned 6.

I don’t think they realise that poor eyesight doesn’t make us blind, it just makes everything look like uniform blobs of colour. If your hands were smaller, maybe I wouldn’t be able to see them.

Kinda similar to me. I can see short distances fine but long distances are pretty blurry without my glasses.

There are times when I have to take a photo of the whiteboards during classes to help me write down the notes because I can't see the lecturer's writings clearly, yet I've already my glasses on.

Guess maybe I need to change the lens.
