That all sounds rather intriguing and lucrative, good luck to you.

One whole prayer and not a penny more, however.

Always knew you to be stingy with the donations!

And thank you, it'll be much appreciated.

I can do well wishes. Prayers are impossible for me.

And the asking for edits is to see how you respond to feedback, incorporate suggestions, etc. Chances are slim they'd publish on the client's website, heh, can they even since you are not working for them (yet) so it still contains your copyright?

Ah, that'll make sense. Well, I spent five years in uni learning creative writing, I suppose it'll help that I never say no to constructive criticism.

And... I'm not entirely sure... I probably should look closely on the bylines. Since it was a test made under their roof I think it's theirs, but I'm not entirely sure how Philippine IP law works.

To Jolthig - not quoting directly as on phone and long quotes and phones don't mix.

Understand your reasons and I've had similar thoughts and frustrations (sans the religious motivations, obviously).

My contrary conclusion has been that any individual here dramatically overestimates their importance if they think they can have a dramatic personal impact on the forum's culture. Dicks will continue to be dicks whether I'm here or not, and so long as I at least manage to be more reasonable than the median user (not a particularly high bar) any miniscule contribution I may make towards that culture will be a net positive and therefore not a bad thing to be doing. So I think it's not necessarily supporting bad culture to be here.

Good luck to you if you're bored or think there are other things you'd rather be doing, though honestly formal retirements are usually unnecessary as a thing and very few of us end up sticking to them after a bit of time away.

A nice card is preferable to feeble prayers, but cards do commonly cost more than just a penny.

Had to take bus to get to tire place to pick up car, I had forgotten just how bad the JTA is. Also the bus pass from my city job still works for some reason.

That's not the oppertunity I smell, I think I can put together a decent team to run a small mass transit operation.

So... it's already 11/9, or 9/11, for me here right now.

I am not going to open a thread on NSG just for that, and I definitely won't talk much about it, but... with that said, my sympathies and condolences to those that have lost their lives in that attack.

Sorry to start off with a downer.

Yes, we must remember the victims of the attacks.

In turn, we are doing a meet a Muslim campaign on Saturday to correct misconceptions about Islam.
