We are Ahmadi Muslims. We preach peace and love, not hatred. Why should we play into their (the attackers') rhetoric? The extremists who committed this act did do out of fear of the Muslim community. So we should just retaliate and prove their fears to be founded?

I do not see violence as necessary, I regret the use of it. But there has not been violence in this attack, no muslim has been hurted. Most mosques are built without the permission of the native people, while if you try to build a church in an islamic country you could even be sentenced to death. This is not fair, and this makes the people, The Christian People, to start the demolition of the buildings of the invader faith, which has never, and will never be, accepted in many territories.
This so called "vandals" are not saying to muslims "Do not follow your religion, do not praise to your leader" they are saying "I will not accept you building mosques with the money of my people, in the territory of my people, and, most importantly, without the permission of my people" That is not intollerance, but instead what happens when popular soveraignty has been destroyed to the benefict of those who will bring money to the corrupt polliticians.
