I have only been here for a couple weeks, but there already a few NSers that I know I won't probably won't be forgetting anytime soon.

Ethel mermania: If I recall correctly, he was the first one to give me a warm welcome on this site which was really nice. Especially since this other user (Gormwood) tried to get me in trouble with the mods and deleted literally just hours after I joined. Plus, I really like the cat in his flag and we are both from the State of New York.

Dumb Ideologies: Her posts are always interesting and fun to read. She has a great sense of humor and an interesting perspective on things. Plus, Toradora! was actually my first anime so the fact that she has Taiga Aisaka in her flag is definite bonus in my book.

Rojava Free State: He and I disagree at times it seems, but he seems like a really nice and genuine person. Plus, he started the Chris-chan thread.

Something about wanting revenge for his friend getting DEATed, and that he still has an account somewhere that is not Banana-related and that the Mods will never find it.

Mr Bananagrabber is the sort of poster I remember in the same terms as Caninope, Hydesland, Joseon, Neu Leonstein ASB, Nadkor or, yes, Yoot or FST (for the stuff they did that didn't get them DOS'd).

I really hope the two people are different. But, then, that would just make the latter poster worse. I mean, at least similar players like Karinzistan (assuming they're not the same person, of course) have the decency to think up an original name.

The most annoying spam is always "in existing thread" spam. Whether that's an attack or a series of posters just taking up pages making dumb puns. Making spam threads is just a minor inconvenience... and they only ever do it when the forum's dead anyway.

Well, from what I saw the Banana Kid seemed to have at least some fans that were willing to join in on his troll/spam threads. Plus, searching back through previous TET threads a few users said they thought the Banana Kid was at least mildly entertaining.

You're referring to threads from mid-2019 as old?

I've been on here since 2012, and if you want some real DoS spam and drama, search through the first three years of this forum (2009-2012). You'll see a lot of the names mentioned in my OP, that's for sure, and it'll give you a whole new appreciation for the fine art of human stupidity and ridiculousness.

I've been on here since 2012, and if you want some real DoS spam and drama, search through the first three years of this forum (2009-2012). You'll see a lot of the names mentioned in my OP, that's for sure, and it'll give you a whole new appreciation for the fine art of human stupidity and ridiculousness.

That thread is an interesting time capsule, really blew up too, I remember seeing it, thinking little of it then seeing it's grown to over 60 pages the next day. Of course there was all that drama about you know what.

I don't think there's any relation. Mr Bananagrabber II was just a banana kid spam account; he probably just saw the name somewhere and copied it, which would tend to make me think he had a previous incarnation and a grudge/unfinished business. I doubt a literal 4-5 year old would have been able to use NS when the original Mr Bananagrabber joined in 2011 anyway.

Edit: Oh, apparently the guy who's currently doing a suicide-by-mod around NSG is actually Soldati Senza Confini; look here for details. That's quite a shame because I too always liked Soldati. How the mighty have fallen.

Eh, that's assuming he is still on the site and is reading this. Besides, this thread is about memorable NSers, famous or infamous. For better or for worse, the Banana Kid had an impact and has his place in NS history. It seems that a few others before me listed the Banana Kid on this thread, too. From what I gather, some considered him to an annoying menace from hell while others seemed to consider him to be something of a savior that broke the monotony and provided entertainment for a while. Kind of like Kaito Kid from Magic Kaito. Some considered him to be just a pesky thief/illusionist, but others were amused by his antics and cheered him on.

Besides, at least he didn't rape cats like another mentioned user (1,000 Cats) did. That guy deserves to be in prison for life.
