I would talk about how homosexuality is a commonly observed phenomenon in nature, but I think we're a little off track already. This programme isn't to teach people that being gay is good, it's just trying to teach them that other sexualities and gender identities exist. Which is a point of fact, not ideology.

Sex ed should be LGBT+ inclusive, period. Parents can teach their children whatever values they want in the intimacy of their home, but public education does not and should not exist solely to reproduce and reinforce the ideology of parents.

I disagree. Children have a right to a proper, non-abusive upbringing. Legal guardians are granted powers to carry that out. The children can be removed from their custody if they fail in their responsibilities.
