So you can listen to Walking on the Moon while walking on the Moon.

Or listen to Drinking Like Keith Moon while drinking like Keith Moon on the Moon.

to study grey rocks, or for the real estate to build things.
no reason for anyone who isn't either a researcher or wanna be instillation artist though.

unless there's maybe good paying jobs processing grey rocks.
i'm not sure i'd trust being hired for grunt work in an environment that requires a space suit though.

but yah, if i could have a place where i could make things and there weren't building and zoning codes against doing so,
which of course there would be eventually, but for one thing, there is no wildlife as far as i know,
to risk crowding out of its habitat there.

so while construction would have to be strictly regulated within the domes and existing pressurized areas,
there's no reason to expect there to have to be outside of them.

might be a good place to build all sorts of research equipment too, like linear accelerators and other hardware for testing and measuring physics theories.

i don't think the moon would be a good place to look for adventure, other then adventures in scientific research, there just isn't the diversity of resources.

mars though, is a whole nother ball of sand and rock, and except for lack of macro vegitation, enough diversity of resources to feel almost homelike.
as much room to make things as earth and almost as much things to make things out of.

life on either though, whatever amusements you require,
you would have to bring them with you, or at least the skills and knowledge to make them out of what you could find.

adventure as an idea, i suspect would fade rather quickly when faced with the realities of living in either place would require.
although again, mars does offer opportunities luna does not.

one could build presurized labrynths to explore on either, but the point is, at least on the moon, one would have to build them.
mars does have a bunch of places i would be very curious to see more of. the moon not so much.

Same principle as Seasteading. The moon is currently inhabited by a total of zero people who ideologically disagree with me. If I can get myself, a population of ideologically likeminded volunteers, the required infrastructure to sustain ourselves and weapons enough to keep out claimjumping competitor colonies, we can build a utopian society in accordance with how we think society should be.
