He's right. You can champion reform all you want but at the end of the day the establishment is more powerful than you'll ever be, and even if there is massive support for your ideas a few people in Congress can still kill it.

Great news for the Republican Party as one of the dumbest & most disloyal men in Congress is “quitting” the Party

Serial adulterer with a reputation for imbecility condemning someone else as dumb and disloyal. The Projector just keeps running.
Bloodthirsty savages who call for violence against the Right while simultaneously being unarmed defenseless sissies who will get slaughtered by the gun-toting Right in a civil war.

Comrade...

Are you proposing Revolution against the Bourgeoisie? :p

Yes. Revolution or outright political collapse are the only things that will allow true change to our political system.

I love it when people accidentally get power like Teddy Roosevelt and through absolute historical flukes like McKinley's assassination lead directly into things like the Progressive movement getting mainstream political traction.

Hit me up when you figure this shit out...
Former first lady Michelle Obama on Saturday avoided wading into the race for the Democratic Party's 2020 presidential endorsement, saying that she and former President Barack Obama would support "whoever wins the primary"

This is a pretty important thing to remember as we tear our shirt and cry at the heavens during every shift in the polls:
"I mean that's one of the things that we learned in the campaign. It is early," she said in the wide-ranging interview. "It's like trying to figure out who is going to win the World Series on the first seven games, I mean that's where we are right now. It is so early and things will change."

Also, don't get so caught up in shit that you're gonna take your ball and go home.

"I've been doing this rodeo far too long," she said to a laughing crowd. "It's like -- no comments."
"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

So, two things:

1. Why the fuck are more people thinking about entering the race? Like this guy! Go away! You're as relevant as the horse that died in California- no one cares.

2. Even if more people enter, The Big Shrink can't come sooner enough. Basically, a lot of them will run out of funds/not meet the requirements before the third set of debates and likely the field will be 5-10 candidates by Iowa.

Steyer has the funds. Maybe it's his plan to enter when the field is smaller.

So, we have our first dropout-

What do you mean he isn't the first.

*Whispers grow louder.

Major Ojeda ran? When was this-

*Whispers intensify.

Eh, well, "Major" Candidate Rep. Eric Swalwell will reportedly dropout of the race today. Can't say I'm surprise. Now, if only several more throw in the towel...
