He's disingenuous about his record, he's disingenuous about his consistency, and he believes that his good intentions should count on flawed bills he votes for whereas only bad outcomes should apply to other senators who vote the same way on the same legislation.

It wouldn't be as risible if he didn't claim to be uniquely honest

I can't say I've done so for the presidency, but I have voted for Greens for congress, and I even voted for a Republican mayor here in my town.
