It's a drastic measure for shure, and one not without downsides.

But look what anonymity did for us. Anti vax misinformation spreading and growing. Echo chambers using emotions and half truths to blot out truth.

Convenient half truths being used as an excuse to not diagnose and treat actual issues with society.

ANFTA and the Alt Right where born from anonymity, echo chambers and half truths. How many dead? How many injured? How much property damage from these two groups?

Now, note the downsides. All you can think of.

Flip side: female on male rape is now being taken seriously for the first time ever in large portions (not the majority) of society because anonymity protected those talking about it from social and economic retribution.

Many of those leaking the real on the ground conditions in dictatorial foreign countries could do so because of anonymity. We also know a lot about the inner craziness of the government, again, due to anonymity.

Anonymity has its hazards, but it also has its perks.
Venicilian: wow. Jesus hung around with everyone. boys, girls, rich, poor(mostly), sick, healthy, etc. in fact, i bet he even went up to gay people and tried to heal them so they would be straight.
The Parkus Empire: Being serious on NSG is like wearing a suit to a nude beach.
New Kereptica: Since power is changed energy over time, an increase in power would mean, in this case, an increase in energy. As energy is equivalent to mass and the density of the government is static, the volume of the government must increase.

I have to agree here, anonymity, for all of its problems, ultimately does the people of the internet infinitely more good than harm.

Now, note the downsides. All you can think of.

It would lead to a short term increase of false arrests, just like swating. But eventually the authorities would get wise to these false flags and not send anyone.

Short term awfulness with a long term goal of a more intelligent populous? Worth it in the end? Possibly. Sense most if not all false arrests can be immediately reversed when authorities find that no law has been broken.

The only real major problems would be accidental shooting from these arrests based on falsified claims. A very grave conscience but one that can be mitigated with non lethal weaponry.

But I give you that it is so grave that the law shouldn't be done, at least not yet.

But the concept and the possible effect of removing a key part in Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory is very tempting. The Alt right and the extreme left have both done damage and have clouded the internet and democracy on half truths accepted on emotion.

Antivaxxers are ignorant. Hardly a reason to allow their doxxing. As for those groups, authorities now monitor them and have the means to find them if need be. No need to introduce a way for such a thing to be used by unscrupulous people. Again, think this through.

Monitoring them doesn't stop the spewage of half truths.

Having there real names out in the open and the ability to receive consequences may be a deterrent from spewing out ideologic dribbble.

That’s hardly the only issue. Anonymity has drawbacks but it also has perks needed for reporting wrong doing and other crimes. And no, not all false arrests are easily overturned. Read New California Republic’s post regarding false impersonation too. This law shouldn’t be done, at all. Not now and not ever.
