In terms of issues, NS has a pretty serious right-libertarian bias. Shouldn't be a huge surprise; Max Barry's in that camp. Also, a lot of the people who write issues are cut from the same cloth. As a leftist, I don't necessarily mind, but it'd be good if the issue responses for socialist countries were more balanced.

As someone who mostly just tracks the forums rather than WA nowadays, I’d say there’s a strong community on either side of the spectrum.

If you look at only a single or few threads, you usually find a strong mean opinion that looks like the community’s biased, but overall it’s really just how dedicated either group is to that specific topic. It’s pretty balanced in the long term, if you ask me.
