That too. That's why we have a crapton of emphasis on "sharing is NOT caring" when it comes to diseases. Even common flu can pass to someone, like you will normally see a bunch of people on trains with masks or just coughing/sneezing like there's no tomorrow.

I'm glad that we have this under control, but I will be happier if the entire world is devoid of the Anti-Vaccine Movement (I'm not wishing them ill-will or death; I just don't want the movement to exist in the first place).

Agree. Even going by the Big Pharma path, it is a stretch. It's definitely cheaper to get a vaccine, than to spend a lot on a cure once someone got it.

Honestly I'm worried since the United States is a hot spot of anti-vaxxers and if those numbers keep growing we may have a Polio epidemic next year.

There are valid reasons to refuse certain vaccines and not be in any rush to just accept every new one that comes out. But I'd say that it is more correct to at least be willing to get the vaccines that've been out for decades and thus have been means tested enough for it to be taken as reliable and having utility. Any vaccine that is younger than 10 years, I want to wait until it is at least 5 years old.

It'd also help if it doesn't cost money or is subsidized for low cost at point of delivery. Its a disincentive if it's beyond a certain price point for a lot of people.

Not really, they are a threat, diseases like measles were pretty well under control in the US, Canada and Europe until relatively recently when a bunch of anti-vaxxers allowed it to pretty much have the biggest resurgence of the disease in decades.
