We joke, but it's actually true... Me and my bro are used to European food and cuisine now and then, so even if we don't eat rice for a day, that's fine and we are still content. For my parents, nope! They might eat a burger or a plate of pasta with us, but THEN they will go for a bowl of rice because they felt empty without rice.

That is a fair question, but I believe DI was talking metaphorically. At the very least I have never seen this "eternal toilet" anywhere on the premises.
