Yelling aside, Adaptation is a fantastic movie. And he plays two characters in that!

I actually quite liked Raising Arizona. And I've also always had something of a soft spot for Nicholas Cage in Con Air, since I was a child. It's just a fun movie.

For a post-mortem one-liner, it's hard to beat: "Oh why couldn't you put the bunny back in the box?"

Raising Arizona is an extremely entertaining movie.
I also like National Treasure in a half ironic way.

I noticed a very large uptick in Irish political campaign ads from Google immediately after living away long enough to lose the vast majority of my voting privileges there.

I think Google Ads is just a tease.

The Google Hivemind just likes to remind you of all that you have left behind, so you'll be emotionally vulnerable enough to be more receptive to the messages of the special selection of ads that follow afterwards.

Or... the all-knowing Google doesn't know as much as they think?

I have an adblocker -- though it doesn't work on YouTube -- but before I did, Google ads showed me targeted ads for things completely unrelated to anything I ever searched for and local ads for places that were nowhere near.

Yes. I suppose one way for a corporation -- if they were so inclined -- to get everyone to tell them all their secrets would be to pretend they were too incompetent to remember them

Yeah the marketing module of my bachelors rubbed against it, a lot of it was best described as actively malicious, and that was just a semi-dive in.
