Apparently reality is more like an action/drama movie than it lets on.

A few hours after the last of the team was rescued, the pumps started failing. Basically it turned into a race against the clock wheather they intended it or not. Personally I'm fine with that since the entire team seems to have made it out.

Reading more into the situation inside the cave... Not sure what Elon Musk thought his submarine would do. It sounds like it would have been a massive hindarance. Apparently there were more than a few tight bends, super narrow portions, and more than a few meters of dry ground.

A recent conversation..

Me - It's like those miners in Chile..
Friend - why is it always minors who get stuck in caves
Me - What do you mean.. these kids aren't miners... oh, you mean minors..
Friend - what do you mean?

The narrowest part of the cave was around 40cm wide. Given that divers had to remove their air tanks to get through, what had Elon Musk been smoking when he thought a mini-submarine could get through!?

Now that these children are safe we need to look at what we can do to prevent another situation like this. I say we ban caves.

In which case, all workers should bring amontillado wine with them so that at least we can make literary references.

And are you going to alter the paths of all rivers to ensure nothing ever erodes a new cave again?

What, you suggested closing all caves. Please no

Also, it's great that they managed to save everyone from inside the caves, and that the survivors managed to survive for more than two weeks inside the cave

Agreed. The caves weren't in the wrong here. Clearly the solution is to ban all children.

No, no no. That's the wrong way about it. The solution is to ban water.

No... banning water would be difficult. I suggest we ban only rainfall.
