So has anyone here ever heard of the Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temple in the Indian state of Kerala. Since Kerala state needed to find money, it seems a few years ago the Indian courts got an injunction order against the trust that runs this temple for an Indian royal and raided the cellars of the temple where they have discovered in a few of the secured rooms what some believe is treasure worth around one trillion US dollars. Seems this treasure had been collected over thousands of years. All together there are 7 secured rooms. The is only one room which has never been opened. Seems they did open at least two doors that lead into that room. However, the last door is made of steel and has no lock or hinges. It is believed that doom will be released on the world if that door is somehow forced opened and not opened the proper way which is by chanting. Yes, some have tried it but no one can get it right. An injunction against the courts by the trust has stopped the courts from opening it.

What I find strange about this is that since the outside of this temple is made of gold that over the centuries pirates, foreign invaders like the Portuguese or the English would have raided that place. After all, it was made of gold and they could clearly see it from a distance. So where they afraid of releasing the doom or what. This almost seems like the Indiana Jnes movie the temple of doom.

My opinion is do not force the door open since you never know.

For a little more reality-bound explanation, maybe once it's sealed, no more going out. I'm guessing that someone was sacrificed to shut the door from the inside.

Option A: Get a trusted royal subject, or someone that is willing to do anything for you, even to the extent of his death. Just make him close the vault from the inside, for the greater good.

Option B: Get a lowly fool or someone who has no clue what's he getting into. Tell him that this is just yet one of the many chambers, and to get to the next vaults filled with treasure, you have to close the door behind you first. Trick him into closing it, and... This is just getting sad.

My gut feeling says that it is all a ruse. I mean, if there are indeed a trillion worth of dough inside, I'm pretty sure the Indian government will use that to fix themselves and their people.
