If it makes any difference, in my head the lines "phonies" and "bronies" last more counts than the lyric seems to suggest.

Cool, I'll make sure of that. This is the best lyrics I've seen in a while. :lol2:

Do you have any personal traditional practice for such times, the imbibing of drink or the unwinding of music and dance?

My girlfriend doesn't like me but she won't admit it. She rarely wants to talk to me, we text a couple times a day, but she doesn't really like to talk to me on the phone.

She's smart and pretty and I'm way into her, but the chemistry just isn't there. I'm really sad about, especially since we'll be traveling together for a year in a couple months.

I just don't blow up the skirt in her heart. It's understandable, we met online, and we've committed to some time together, but even before its started I can see its not there. She doesn't really like interacting with me. I'm profoundly bummed.

I want to get really intoxicated but I'm alone and I'm told that getting fucked up by yourself to deal with pain is apparently bad mojo or something. I just can't escape this sadness.

And I wrote a country song about Tet a few pages back. I gots the blues.

How do the people of your culture cope with broken hearts?

Some people can be a bit slower in warming to others. Give her a little bit of time. Perhaps she doesn't enjoy talking on the phone (I know I don't). It may not be you personally.

A good brownie is when it has a huge load of chocolate filling inside of it. (Pot is totally optional).

Wait, not that kind of brownie, is it?

I think I'm prone to codependence. I think I need to date another codependent person, and this girl is really independent.

There should be a matching site for people like me called "TrainWrex" or something.

I think Bronie's are different, but I stil like your definition and think we should retain it in the formal working papers before submission.

Honestly, dating someone who is very independent is good for you. It may teach you to become more independent too. Which is a good thing. A partner is nice, and I know I love mine, but one should be able to also exist independently of them. It's healthy. ;)

I prefer the ones made by my great aunt.

They are hella delicious, but she rarely makes them, and the last time she did (around my graduation): while it was good, I grew a bit tired of them because I had been eating them every day as a snack.

I believe you, but I'm not healthy. I've been alone so long, I've been fading into a ghost. Having been alone so long, to be with someone, its like breaking the surface of an ocean I was drowning in, how can I not gulp air?

I told her that she makes the Mona Lisa look like a Polaroid of monkey shit. There's something wrong with me.

It's an odd compliment but you pretty much told her she is a better masterpiece than the famous Mona Lisa. ^_^
