How do you know? We know almost nothing about what happened yet.

Shooter had an a gun. Guns would not have been banned after Sandy. Wide spread confiscations would not have happened after Sandy. The major thing that’s came after Sandy was feel good legislation targeting guns based on cosmetics.

We don’t have enough information to state that. Gun control has managed to stop school shootings across the planet. The US needs to stop pretending that it’s some special magic land. Comprehensive gun control works. It’s just that the US isn’t willing to give up its guns at any price.
