The people of Israel proceed to faint over and over as God insists on using them against everyone, even the Romans, who are way overlevelled and have a type advantage.

Given what happens in the book of revelation, I would say God would probably enjoy a bit of Fallout. This should also probably be in Arts and Fiction.

The Lord has quite a fancy for the game. He's been playing it for years. He assumes a human form once a month and indulges. Doesn't tell anybody where he's playing, just goes away for a couple of hours. And from what I understand, he always gives his free points away to the neighborhood children- isn't that sweet?

If the bible is to be believed he exclusively watches reality television. And he created a universe for that purpose.
Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I just like playing with the idea of a country of madmen utterly convinced that everyone else are the barbarians. So play along or not but don't ever think it's for real.

Well, I can say for certain that the Judeo-Christian God is heavily into BDSM, given his penchant for tormenting mortals with cruel "tests of faith", inflicting excessive and arbitrary punishments, demanding bloody sacrifices, endorsing genocides and visiting occasional plagues and disasters upon the hapless mortal world. Hell, he even let mortals torture his own son.

He's probably into grand strategy games, seeing how they are similar to his job of running the world. And his favourite read is Machiavelli's "Prince" - heretically assuming, of coruse, that a mortal could possibly write anything that hadn't occured to God already.
Freedom doesn't mean being able to do as one please, but rather not to do as one doesn't please.

A fool sees religion as the truth. A smart man sees religion as a lie. A ruler sees religion as a useful tool.

The more God in one's mouth, the less in one's heart.

God is a Sims sort of person. However, God doesn't play it regularly. Instead, he plays it via his mortals. That violent urge to remove pool ladders is, contrary to popular belief, divinely inspired.

Being omniscient, he’s probably already seen all possible permutations of entertainment, and always sees it at all times. So either he’s perpetually entertained or perpetually bored.

Question. Being all knowing, can God spoil himself for shows?

God is both omnisapient and omnipotent, so yes, God can watch a show without being spoiled. God can also spoil Godself at the same time, at which point you enter into the paradoxes of omnipotence, eventually leading to the creation of a very heavy rock.

A deity would not need or want to play/watch/ or read because they would have infinite power and so they wouldn't need to be entertained.

But... in a hypothetical situation, I guess it would probably play with whatever it can conjure. If I was a god, I could totally imagine me playing Arma 2 IRL so I can imagine the Abrahamic God playing something like Sims 3 IRL (I mean, he supposedly plays that every day so...).

Other than skee ball? Well his day job is running all of existence, so games like that would probably be too much like taking his work home. Like an accountant playing EVE Online. So I guess he'd play RPGs. Be a change for him to only be in charge of one person and only have limited power over the game world.

Unless you are God, of course. Then you can both stop it and keep it going at the same time.

My guess is that he has an approach to games, art, literature etc which he likes to use for analyzing them; this is what really entertains him, and he likes to see how his design/intellectual approach presents itself in various media
