I mean even then 20 - 100 years isn't going to be hit that hard with our technological developments. I mean it's not nearly as bad during the industrial revolution, and my real issue is the extremism against the oil industry and putting unreasonable regulations on them in hopes they'll convert to being green. 'Eco-Friendly Extremism' is a term made up by those looking for justification to ignore the warnings. It was the conservatives what threw identity politics in to muddy the waters, and while both sides are guilty in part for obfuscating the issue (Conservatives for throwing out decoys, and Progressives for actually taking that insipid bait) that does not eliminate the fact that ecological harm has already been done, and will continue to get worse.

Besides I don't recall you ever deny the crazy we're going to die due to global warming in 50 years, perhaps you believe it too?

I read the actual evidence. Hell, I read the evidence YOU posted just a couple posts back and it only serves to reinforce my claim.

Look, I say a good couple hundred years will show that global warming will kill us, but not in 20 - 300 years.

You say. As if your voice is as justified in giving an estimation as the thousands of scientists that have actual evidence speaking on their behalf. Even if it were as you say, you're essentially pulling a 'Why should I give a shit? *I'LL* be dead by that point!' stance, which is every bit the level of stuffing your head in the sand as your claiming climate change warnings are a conspiracy theory.

Now can you please take your shoveled shit to an actual climate change thread? Maybe the one I actually listed? That'd be GREAT.

I agree. Please don't derail this. This is about a (failed) conspiracy theory of the end of the world, not a debate on climate change.

Sorry I can't stuff my head in the sand. I don't live near sand, so I can't. But people on coastal cities can ;)

I never claimed climate change was a conspiracy theory if you are going to throw words in my mouth, and if you had been reading what I wrote I'm saying when they believe a dangerous climate change were to happen. And with the source I presented earlier was to show that every climate change that happens is not Man made, and shouldn't be treated as such. And this all started with my point of there IS people who believed the world was going to end in 2075, and they also believed oil was going to run out in 2012. It was presented in my school when I was younger. Anyways I think I'm done.

In any event, I'm still debating whether I should offer extra credit for one of the woodshop students to make me a sign that reads: "The World Will End Tomorrow. Yes, your homework is still due."

The power of cringe is strong with some, but it's not the kind of skill that could be considered marketable or even desirable. Maybe the world will implode one day when the cringe becomes too strong and we just can't take it anymore. Not the end of the world we desire, but probably the end of the world we deserve.

Series of earthquakes that destroy the world? I don't think that's how that works, even if earthquakes can be very destructive. It's also impossible to predict an earthquake, and that all you can really know is where fault lines are and which are more active than others. That form of Neptune's wrath is very sudden.

So, when do you think the world will end? We survived tens and hundreds of them, and we are still here! For me, like I posted as Alanis Star, I already feared my supposed death in 2012, but hey, that's only because I watched a movie. If an end of the world is ACTUALLY going to happen, I'm going to spend the next few moments running off to a nearest cat/kitten and pet its head gently. If I'm going out, I will go out petting a ball of lovely fluff.

Or are we really wiped out? And now going to spend eternity in a Matrix-like system, and the only way to talk to each other is through NS posts?

Side Note: YouTube seems to be rampant with conspiracies. I really want to know why.

I actually saw Nibiru on the horizon today, it approached from the east. It was very bright, and one could feel its scorching heat. I was positive that such a terrifying object would be the death of us within minutes However, it appears to have done a fly by of earth, as it passed over the western horizon before disappearing from view. I'm hoping that's the last of it we'll see.

The good thing about end of the world predictions is that they only have to be right once. And you know one will be. So why not just take a stab at the problem? Worst thing that can happen is you are right.
Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I just like playing with the idea of a country of madmen utterly convinced that everyone else are the barbarians. So play along or not but don't ever think it's for real.

The above post contains hyperbole, metaphoric language, embellishment and exaggeration. It may also include badly translated figures of speech and misused idioms. Analyze accordingly.
