Errinundera was created on Christmas Eve 2002 - about 6 weeks after NS began. The reason why we are behind population wise is we were a couple of years out of the game.

The world is not cyclical, not eternal or immutable, but endlessly transforms itself, and never goes back, and we can assist in that transformation.

Live on, survive, for the earth gives forth wonders. It may swallow your heart, but the wonders keep on coming. You stand before them bareheaded, shriven. What is expected of you is attention.

From what I've gathered, a demon spawn "sequel" to NS made by a company called Jolt. It was a clusterfuck apparently, extremely broken and eventuall shut down in the guise of "repairs."

Thats what I know. It was before my time.

It's good to see the histories passed down through the forums are still accurate. NS 2 was never stable, much less an improvement over Nationstates, and it died a well deserved death.

Judging just by population, I’d say the current oldest living nation is Kyupaa currently. Although that may not be the correct answer. The oldest created nation is Maxtopia.

NS2 was long before I started playing, but I learned some things about it in the News tab thing.

Based on how everyone talks about that time, it seems many are eager to forget

Hello there! Well, umm, late post here, but of course, I am far from being the oldest.

The oldest nation I have is Valentine Z, which is found in the November of 2015, after my friend shared*** it with me.

*** EDIT: I want to clarify this phrasing. It's NOT that my friend shared her account and password with me. She shared to me about the game, that's how I knew about it, and created my own nation!

With that said, I have heard from TET that you cannot use Population as an indicator. There was apparently a bug (way before I start my nation), whereby some nations get 2x population increase for some period of time.

Valentine Z's first ever puppet.
• I really want to carry a kitten and pet it.
• A perfect balance between urban and nature.
• Ruled by a magical android from another dimension, always cheerful and smiling.

Holy shoot, that screams of early 2000s.

That's going into my image folder.

Just for comparison with today: The world contains 174,209 nations in 21,176 regions.

Sometimes I feel old on here. My first nation was founded in '08 or '09. It's just a shame I can't remember the name of it anymore.
