English: A Broken Language?

Okay I got the proof I needed to say English is broken. I was at the airport and I saw a French sign and could read half of it despite never learning a word of french.

That's not proof of anything English.

It shows that English has so many weird rules due to stealing 3/4th of its words

Hell does that mean? A language isn't broken, only complex. English isn't even that complex compared to other Germanic languages. To say that the writing system is bad and homonyms/homophones are annoying, yeah okay. That's just difficulties learners need to get around, but English is functional. Chinese belongs to the Sino-Tibetan language family, whereas Japanese and the Ryukyu Islands languages belong to the Japonic family. They aren't related, nor is Korean related to either group.
