Demographic shifts are not kind to Republicans.

Not when they get 27% of the Hispanic vote. The goal for Kasich is to not do that.

You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

No kidding.

Florida??? It went to Obama by less than a point against Romney.

Kasich and Romney are pretty politically similar and the Democratic nominee will have Obama voters with them.

I think Kasich has less of the "shady businessman" thing than Romney, but I guess.

The thing is all a Republican has to do to pick up FL is to have the black turnout decrease by one point, not too difficult with Obama off the ballot. Unfortunately Cruz and Trump will screw this up by doing worse than Romney with whites and Hispanics.

It would appear to me, that if Indiana goes for Trump, he will reach 1237. If Cruz and Kasich were right, there should have been no reason why Trump should have swept tonight with 50%< in every state. But he did, which would suggest that perhaps...Trump does have a mandate. In a 3 Candidate race, it's not easy to get 50%. But Trump did, in Pennsylvania. I single out that state because it's fairly representative of the country, and Trump swept.

I'm almost certain that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee, unless the Party changes the rules before the convention (likely) or Cruz surges in California (also likely) while Kasich outperforms in New Mexico and Oregon (who the hell knows really).

Most of pennsylvania's delegates are unbound by the popular vote.

I know that but the target for this set of primaries is 989 (although it hasn't updated it still shows the line representing the delegates he needs). He only has 950. Probably add a few more.
