With the normalization of relations between united States and Cuba the Vast oil fields off the northwest coast of Cuba will be tapped finally now that they can access the tech neccesary to deveople it. Fracking in US will ramp up quickly after January 1. With republicans controlling the House od representatives and senate the Canadian pipeline will be passed into law and more oil will be flowing south. gas is already headed to the $2.00 a gallon level now, Pipeline parts oders have gone up 250% and (8) refineries are on the planning board

The last thing Cuba will do is sell its national resources. I think it's more logical that Cuba will exploit the oil fields with help of Venezuela.
