Cyrus the Great from Ancient Persia, his equality in social policies was way ahead of his day. I know that might not sound "cool" to most people, but to me being 1000s of years ahead of your time is really cool.

The coolest a leader COULD be as opposed to HAS been is being a Quilava, because face it, Quilavas are the definition of cool.
