Where I live we are going to take homosexuals to be banned from adopting children based on their mental instability since we have established homosexuality as a mental disability in my country.

Yeah, that if your excuse to not date trans people whatsoever is because their chromosomes are this or that (as if there weren't a lot of intersex people out there with genotypes they might even not know about), or because of their endocrine development, then it's a weird fetish.

Everything is informed by cissexism in a society meant to be cissexist in its own construction, but the degree of absurd in the paragraph above isn't unconscious anymore. It needs a bit of de-legitimization of trans people i.e. transphobia, already conscious/intentional at that, for said reason.

Well I can see why someone wouldn't want to date a pre-op transexual, and I wouldn't consider that a fetish. Also, post-ops can't have kids, so that's another (legitimate) reason not to date someone, for some people.
