There's just something about their website and the way their publications are written that bothers me. Not sure what it is.

Not necessarily.
It is more of a pluralistic attempt at interfaith bound by some rather vague concept of God.

Personally it feels like they ripped off the Bahai.

Also can someone not come in claiming "All religions are cults", because I know who it will be, and frankly I am not in the mood for it.

In which those who support Pedophilia and Zoophilia are grouped. Maybe be more specific, or exclude those unwanted.

Maybe you should see who's grouping them up. Zoophilics, Pedophilics, and people against the LGBT+ crowd do group them(selves) within that group.

Putting it another way would still render the previous statement valid, just a different wording.
Not to mention, such things are able to happen. Haven't you ever heard of a homosexual homophobe?

Really?

Not sure about that "alternative lifestyle" part seems rather oddly worded.

That's really sad. I'm not really upset about the homophobia-- I've learned to tune that shit out-- but I am sad for the family.
I couldn't imagine having that happen at a dear friend or family member's funeral. Heart-wrenching, really.

I hope that pastor's decision didn't cause them too much distress or distract them after they took the funeral elsewhere.
A damn shame, that is.

I think you may have them mixed up with praying mantises. They're very similar, though, so it's a completely understandable mistake to make. It takes years of practice to be able to tell the many limbs, churning mandibles and soulless, black compound eyes of bisexuals apart from their smaller cousins.

Here is another viral video of people coming out to their parents, this time it is a set of twins: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3K0CJ8usPU

Perhaps it has been talked about on nationstates before, but I don't know about all these coming out videos are really a good thing for the LGBT community or for the person coming out. Now, before you start typing, please hear me out. I believe that coming out to loved ones is deeply personal, I don't really see how can it not be deeply personal and/or moving to one. There was a lot of crying when I came out to my family as bisexual, and I think the best decision that I've made in my life is post a video on the internet of me coming out to my family.

Yes, I do agree that is very selfless of a person to put a video on their coming out to their family, but is this being a tad too selfless?

What do you think, nationstates?

Not surprised given all studies establishing just how similiar twins can be. Of course I had a rather less than stellar thought about why they both came to their dad at the same time (twincest). Not sure what you mean about the "tad too selfless" part.

I'd prefer "coming out" to not be deeply personal. I'd obviously prefer it to not exist in the first place. In my own case (and yes, I did come out) there were a couple of smirks and that was about it, though, I did talk for a while with my sister. Why'd you cry, anyway?

In any case, I didn't then and I don't see now that moment as some kind of sacred moment, which is what it appears to be like for you.
