Green Bay won by a blowout. If anyone tells you different, such as Seattle won 28-22 in OT, ask them if this rag smells like chloroform. ;)

Hawks won.. :meh:

No. I've seen this a lot, it used to happen to the Giants all the time. During half time some organized crime types kidnapped the Packers and substituted a bunch of guys from down at Shaugnessy's Tavern. Naturally, those guys couldn't play against even a Seahawks team that turned the ball over five times and couldn't even get in a field goal in the first half. I mean, really, that has to be the explanation.

You know when a team dominates over years & years like the Patriots have, it's easy to dislike them unless that's your team. However, when there is only 6 minutes left in them game & Belichick not only has Brady still in at 45 to 7, but Brady throws a 40(ish) yard pass for another touchdown attempt, what are you trying to prove at that point? The Colts were already beaten; why not just run the ball to burn clock? After that, when Brady came back into the game after 4 & out by Luck, it would have been justified if the defense of the Colts would have taken a penalty & put Brady on his ass as hard as they could regardless of were the ball was. Of course, if that happened then the Colts would have just sunk to the level of poor sportsmanship of Belichich & Brady. Hats of to New England's talent, but I spit at their grace or lack there of.

Look at who they played to get to the AFC Championship. A pretty dull Cincy team in the wildcard. Denver, who pretty much lost to Indi behind a struggling Manning. It was really a no-brainer that they were going to lose to New England, but not by 38 points.

I wouldn't say that. Now the Cardinals or the Broncos last year, THEY lost like a g6.

Packers suffered from some questionable decisions (settling for field goals on the one-yard and the two yard instead of going for it when your defense was stopping the 'Hawks cold? Really? Is there a reason here?) but had some insanely good ground-game and lack of it by the 'Hawks to pose a serious challenge (I can't even be mad at Clinton-Dix for that interception near the end of the second quarter).

I was honestly impressed by Green Bay and every Seattle offense prior to the third quarter was just painful to watch.

Organized crime types? You've got it all wrong. It was merely the result of an overly friendly Mama Sherman and the Legion of Superfans giving the Packers all 'celebratory' bowls of Campbell's soup when they entered their locker-room for halftime. The Packers proceeded to gorge themselves on the somewhat early victory meal.

Of course, as every 'Hawks fan knows due to being told of it by none other than the best corner in the game himself and his mother, Campbell's Chunky fills you up right.
In this case though, filling up the Packers right caused things to go all wrong. *nod*

You forget that this is Brady. You hit him even a second late nowadays and its a RtP
to do such a thing as illegally hit him as hard as you can would only result in an actual response from the league along the lines of forfeiting the playoffs the next 2 years

Anyway, Tom Terrific is going back to the promised land. Shame Wilson is 10-0 against SB-winning QBs. This will change once the game is over though. There is no David Tyree this time, nor is there a bad defense for the Patriots. We got this!

I spit at your lack of understanding of a QB in general. QBs love to play the game. He wanted to play more, so he got to play more. Simple as that. Ask Brock Osweiler about Peyton Manning's love for the game. You should now understand that's it's anything but poor sportsmanship. We might as well consider most quarterbacks, coaches, and players in gerneral to be poor sportsman for staying in the game long after the game is decided.

In spite of the epic finish by the Seahawks, I'm holding onto feelings I had at the end of the first half: I've damn near completely lost patience for Seahawk penalties. Do the Seattle coaches train discipline at all? It seems like they're making no effort to try and fix their stupid and most careless mistakes. On the other hand, sincere congratulations to Russell Wilson for turning his god-awful game around when it was needed the most.

Sir I've been watching football for over 30 years and I played football in high school, so I have understanding. In games when the contest is over well before the clock runs out, there is a time when you put the 2nd string in, not only for the safety of your star players, not only to give others a chance to play in a championship game who don't get a chance to play as often, but also as a show of sportsmanship to the team that is obviously defeated. It's the same concept when a winning basketball team subs in their bench in the final minutes & dribbles the ball to a closeout instead of throwing up a 3 point shot or driving to the basket in the final seconds just to add to the winning score. If Brady was told to go in there, then that's on Belichich, but the goal with 6 minutes left, with the score 45 to 7 should have been to run out the clock. That pass was arrogant.

Draft picks? That's it? They should be kicked the fuck out of the Super Bowl if this turns out to be true.

As much as I'd like to agree with that sentiment, the Colts didn't lose because of Deflategate. Spygate was far worse, and would have been paid far more attention to had ESPN not fucking slobbered over LOL PERFECT SEASON every imaginable waking second of the 2007 NFL season.

The fact that it wasn't a close game is completely irrelevant. If this happened, then it still would have happened regardless of the score. And if they really did cheat, then it looks like getting docked draft picks last time didn't teach them a damn thing. A point will need to be made and it will need to be made abundantly and unquestionably clear, and if that requires telling them to stay the fuck home on the first then so be it.
