I work very hard at doing nothing. It's remarkably tricky.
I sometimes wonder how so many politicians manage it.

Thank you. The great dilemma of many a student is choosing a career that falls into one of two options. The first, is a potentially high paying career in a field they will not particular enjoy - i.e: They're in it for the money. Or, two, a lower paying career that the student will enjoy immensely. A passion if you will - i.e: This was my choice.

My advice to you Blaatschapen is simple. Choose wisely! And take the time you need to make that choice. I am assuming of course that you are still quite young and as a result, still possess that choice. Because it gets more difficult as you age.

The assumption is quite wrong. I'm past the student age. Luckily I enjoy my work. I just don't do enough of it :(

I collect cookie cutters, teapots, Iron Man comic books and knives (hunting knives) and I play Diablo II and III and Mass Effect I, II and III. I also raise tarantulas and snakes (actually just snake -singular). Oh and when the budget and the mood strike me, I go antiquing.

What are your hobbies? Do you consider them strange? Do others consider them strange? Or are you just a normal, average person like me?

I really like stuff that's strange. If I find it, I'll probably hoard it.

I also watch a lot of shitty exploitation films from the 70's. Play RPGs and don't like reading.

I'm your average creep.

That's not old.

My oldest original print dates to 1902 or so.

My oldest are Aladore by Henry Newbolt, 1914, Peter Pan and Wendy, 1911, and my prize, Undine, by Friedrich de la Motte Fouqué, 1911 (first English translation).

I also have a Victorian printing of The Vicar of Wakefield but of course it is not the original.
