No, most people are probably already fairly TB resistant.

So... we make new drugs.

Something that's easier said than done, unfortunately. The problem with TB is that it's incredibly resilient to most types of antibiotics, even in its 'normal' strains, and what antibiotics that are used need to be used for life and can have some pretty horrific side effects.

This should serve as a warning to India to clean up its environment. People are unhealthy in India, and rampant pollution isn't helping anyone.

Agreed on that front. Though India's made some remarkable strides forward, there is still a heck of a lot left to do.

1. Nuclear fireballs are not miles wide unless its' the Tsar Bomba or something.

2. If you cannot get into shelter, hiding under a desk is a good idea because unless your house is outright flattened by the nuke, it will protect you from things like shrapnel and glass shards (the main killers in nuclear attacks and bombing raids).
