Thanks, CC.
I'm feeling scared for what may go down at dinner, which is when Ruth and Haskel have me trapped...
The only ray of hope is that I have my therapist appointment tomorrow, hopefully I'll have one on one time with the doc...

Then she'd probably say shit about you being a communist
I love those kind of old people.
(she doesn't like the fact that we're depending on Russia to send our astronauts to the ISS, because apparently, they're still communists...)
Are you sure Ruth isn't really Michele Bachmann?
would curse you out for your military service
Why?
and lifestyle.
I get that a lot, actually.
She'd probably also refer to you as a gypsy (not as a racial slur, I wouldn't think, but just out of ignorance. after being corrected, a few days/weeks later, she'd probably make that mistake again...), once she found out what a Roma was...
Everybody gets a single ignorance card. After that, I break out the big book of slurs.

Granted...
Well, the other day, she was asking me who I was wanting to be president, and I said I don't really know. Most of the GOP seems like they're gonna send this country into the shitter, and Obama ain't doing much better, either... Then she said something about Bachmann, and I said no way in hell would I vote for her, after which she asked me why, like there was nothing about her...
She's a severely misinformed elderly American. What else would you expect?
Kind of ties in with the communist thing,
but also maybe due to your service in the 90's as well...(I know that you were following orders, probably would've been shot for disobeying, and that you didn't actually do anything, but she wouldn't see it that way)
As do I, from her and Haskel...
You'd probably be slurring her out (did I mention she's like half German?) after the first two weeks...

Granted...
We have the exact opposite here. Old people who pine for the days of the Sovbloc, and spit at Westerners.
Bachmann. I am confused by her. She is such a horrid, vile human being, but I would still do her.
She's a severely misinformed elderly American. What else would you expect?
Still. You think that sort of Jingo would know all about the Cold War, and how Ceausescu was a good friend of Nixon.
Kind of ties in with the communist thing,
Well, I was only a political officer. . . .
. . . that might be worse in her eyes.
but also maybe due to your service in the 90's as well...(I know that you were following orders, probably would've been shot for disobeying, and that you didn't actually do anything, but she wouldn't see it that way)
Nothing that can be proven as a war crime, at least. As someone who isn't completely ethnically Serb, I wasn't trusted for that sort of thing. Fighting insurgents and soldiers, and some looting and burning.
As do I, from her and Haskel...
We are no so different, you and I.
You'd probably be slurring her out (did I mention she's like half German?) after the first two weeks...
German, you say?
