Must be pretty scary to be a hostage held by ISIS. Especially if you have less then 24 hours to live unless your King on the other side of the border releases a prisoner who tried to kill a bunch of people.

So far he's the only Coalition military personnel to have been captured in 2014. Let's show some support, everybody.

The Islamic state prisons are not bad. They have good home made food plenty of space and they have TV and allow use of cellphones and sometimes they even bring the prop sees out to go to markets and stuff. Ive seen several videos about it from VICE ISIS' Al-Hayat media and al-Jazeera pleas watch some of them.

The quality of their prisons is something of a moot point for the people they simply execute or put into sexual slavery. No informed person with even a basic sense of right and wrong could defend ISIS.
"Our progress in degeneracy appears to me to be pretty rapid. As a nation, we began by declaring that "all men are created equal." We now practically read it "all men are created equal, except negroes" When the Know-Nothings get control, it will read "all men are created equal, except negroes, and foreigners, and Catholics." When it comes to this I should prefer emigrating to some country where they make no pretence of loving liberty -- to Russia, for instance, where despotism can be taken pure, and without the base alloy of hypocracy." - President Abraham Lincoln.

there is absolutely no evidence of sexual slavery. If they did have sexual slavery by the law of Islam/ISIS that would mean half the country would have to kill it's self from about 50-75%.Also pleas watch some videos not nessicerily from Al-Hayat or At-Tibyan.

I'm not saying I do, but I am saying that we should be wary when interpreting information coming from ISIS's media wing.

VICE.
VICE ISIS.

But I don't know whether it's ISIS-affiliated, or not.

Yes. IS seems to be succeeding in becoming a recognised state in the minds of many.
Impressive. I had not expected them to pull it off.

It doesn't help that the poster did not include commas, but I'm pretty sure he meant "ISIS' Al-Hayat" rather than "VICE ISIS." I've found multiple mentions of Al-Hayat being ISIS's official media wing, which supports my interpretation:

IB Times
The video, released by the militant group’s official media wing, Al Hayat Media,

Newsweek
The video is produced by its al-Hayat media wing, infamous for making high budget propaganda to try and recruit Western jihadis,

New York Times
The seven-minute film, released on Wednesday by Al Hayat Media Center, an affiliate of the Islamic State,

Why is everyone so surprised? I said this before and I will say it again. ISIS is not a legion of illiterate orks. They are a modern nation state. They just happen to have some medieval laws in regard to internal politics.

Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I just like playing with the idea of a country of madmen utterly convinced that everyone else are the barbarians. So play along or not but don't ever think it's for real.

The above post contains hyperbole, metaphoric language, embellishment and exaggeration. It may also include badly translated figures of speech and misused idioms. Analyze accordingly.

Our foreign minister is pissed off, because president told the truth, that ISIL can be truly destroyed only by superior army and gave hints that UN task force invasion should be question to consider.

Some people can't understand, that diplomacy can't solve everything.

Sadly, I can't imagine that, let's say, 'Murica, Russia and PRC would create such thing for greater good of mankind.

Holy Shit. It will be one saaaad day if Kaseasbeh and Goto die.

Still, glad they extended the deadline. The whole less then 24 hours thing for Kaseasbeh was a bit ridiculous. Good to know Japan and Jordan are working together to resolve this.

At least they are still less brutal than Genghis Khan. Many times Mongols simply exterminated whole population in conquered city or region. When one Mongol leader found out, that some poeple hid in piles of dead bodies, he even ordered to chop every body in next city to be sure.

Now it's 'just' few mass murders and cut throats, so ISIL can't be considered barbaric :p

I think they wouldn't cooperate even during alien invasion to destroy mankind

To be fair they already have that technology.

We'll see if the Japanese and Jordanian government will do what ISIS wants, I hope they do not release al-Kassasbeh.
