If you have never driven a motor car, or cycle, with a turbine engine; you are missing out.
Virtually no top speed, and devilishly hard to brake safely, because they do not wind down like conventional engines, and the torque is a bit much for conventional brakes.

To someone used to hot rodding around at a measly two hundred mph, 700+ might seem virtually open ended; but specifically, my dear TETnocrat, I was thinking of Jay Leno's turbine bike, that last I checked (eons ago), had not been officially maxed.
At least, not by him.

One of the nice things about the prius is that when you step on the gas, it goes. A few of the other ones I have driven it's a one thousand one count between stepping on the gas and the car moving.

Life is a subjective experience, and sometimes people pursue the right things the wrong way.
Texans, and Confederates in general, showed us the glass darkly vision of the original revolution, and as violent as the following confrontation was, I believe it was an important lesson for contemporary America to mostly forget.
