The rise of neo-Nazis should be seen as a dysfunction is society brought upon by rapid globalization for some countries, particularly in Eastern Europe where the breakdown of the Soviet Union and adoption of neo-liberalism could be seen as frightening for some.

WTF.

Siberia is too good for those people. No, wait, not people, overgrown roundworms posing as people.

I know, it's ridiculous. Neo-Nazis are spreading everywhere.

I wonder if I can spread them even better by using, instead of a butter knife, the tracks of a T-80.

Neh, Putin does more good than harm. That said, if he doesn't catch their whole pathetic organization within eleven months, he's going under that T-34 for ineptitude :P

From what I understand (myself being a dyed-in-the-wool Western Washington liberal), SoCal has both left and right extremes.

The thing with California is that both the liberals and conseratives are far more extreme than the national average.
I support peace in Israel and Palestine. The governments and people in power on all sides are an absolute disgrace, and their unwillingness to pursue peace is a disservice to the people they are meant to be serving. The status quo is not simply untenable; it is unquestionably unacceptable.

Eh, not if he doesn't deserve it. If Putin's Civil Rights Programs were as good as his Stabilization Programs, he'd be the most popular modern leader on NSG.

Well in my experience, the people I've met can be pretty liberal to mildly conservative. Of course, I've read news and reports that there is a sizable and scary presence of neo-nazis scattered around my area. At least they only rear their ugly heads during rallys. Where I live, people are pretty damn tolerant even though this a red county :meh:

Indeed it is: http://mdb.cast.ru/mdb/3-2002/ac/raowdsmcc/

The use of T-90S tanks in Dagestan deserves mention. A group of these vehicles consisting of 8 to 12 units according to different sources was supposed to be delivered to India. Following a sharp aggravation of the situation in the Caucasus, however, the tanks were transferred to Dagestan. In the Kadari zone one T-90 was hit by seven RPG anti-tank rockets but remained in action. This indicates that with regular equipment T-90S is the best protected Russian tank, especially if Shtora and Arena defensive protection systems are integrated in it.

I am not surprised. Russian society is very homophobic and open hostility towards LGBT people is now government policy. While the United States and many other countries are moving forward in LGBT rights, Russia is moving backwards. I personally wouldn't be surprised if the Russian government criminalizes homosexual sex within three years.

And we're talking about the country that 10 years ago gave us lesbian pop singers who kissed during their performances.

Which is why I said that Russia is moving backwards in regards to LGBT rights. Before replying to a post, you need to make sure to thoroughly read it.
